My favorite kind of people are dog people . Here’s a list of my favorite parks to parade my pup! Play date, anyone?
Simpson Park
Del Ray
426 E. Monroe Avenue
Simpson Park is really popular and a great place for your pup to stretch their legs. Tons of room to run around, and lots of new friends to make here! Titus loves to take the chuck-it for some fetch.
Founders Park
Old Town
351 North Union Street
Note that this park isn’t fenced in, but it’s right on the water and doggos are allowed off-leash. Our pup loves to play frisbee here and roll around in the grass.
Monticello Park
Beverly Hills
320 Beverly Drive
Perfect for an off-leash stroll through nature! Adventure dog loves all the sniffs along the trail.
Windmill Hill Park
Old Town
501 South Union Street
Another great place to hang out with your pup along the Potomac. This park is also unfenced, but has plenty of room to play fetch and run around. It’s also near an access point to the Mount Vernon Trail if you’re in the mood for a walk.
